Interesting stat I found while looking at the combined Foot Locker South results...I really think it was unfair in the combined team scoring from states to think of Clarke County to be thought of as the 8th best team in the state. I think they proved throughout the season they are a legit squad and just a quite remarkable story considering the size of their school and program. Check this out in a team comparision between Clarke County's top five finishers and the #1 team in the state combined team scoring, Brentsville...Clarke County actually has the edge. Of course these runners ran in races spaced out all over the day, but the common factor is they all ran in fairly competitive races unlike the race situation for the Clarke County boys in the Group A race at states...food for thought.
